Katie Gentry is a contemporary artist living and working in
Atlanta. A graduate of the University of Georgia, she spends most of her time
working as a private practice therapist and chasing around her two young
children. What began as a creative outlet during the early days of motherhood
unexpectedly grew into a lasting love of painting and a creative practice of
her own.

Inspired by nature, literature, and fashion, Katie’s work
explores color, form, and the beauty of imperfection. Drawn to unexpected color
pairings, her paintings are playful and intuitive, embracing the small
imperfections and accidents that make each piece feel uniquely its own.
